So with your statement, I figured I need to delete the old files. I gave up on trying. The problem I have now with trying to delete the old files is that I keep getting a message saying that I need permission from Trusted Installer to be able to delete the files. It's a never ending problem.
I get one thing fixed then another one comes up. Get that one fixed and another one comes up. Again another problem comes up and here I am with no solution. Once again I need to ask for your help with this ongoing problem.
Many thanks for the help. As I wrote before, if the files in question are just the installer files you download, you don't need to delete them other than to reclaim the space on your hard drive. It's not usual for downloaded files to have TrustedInstaller as the "owner" of the files. In general, you should be wary of deleting files that belong to TrustedInstaller.
